Andisol and microcrystalline cellulose from Typha angustifolia for auramine O adsorption

نویسندگان

چکیده

Andisol has a large surface area, is mesoporous, and contains the active groups' silanol (Si-OH) aluminol (Al-OH). Besides andisol, cellulose good adsorbent, because microcrystalline an hydroxyl group (OH). The number of adsorbent groups can be enhanced by chemically modifying area (increment), or adding other materials. These modifications included alkaline modified-andisol with addition NaOH to increase pore size, hydrolysis HCl andisol modification inclusion materials, mainly cellulose, area. After adsorption process complete, capacity andisol-microcrystalline (AMS) auramine O (AO) known. As for AO, BET 25.92 m2/g diameter 14.40 nm, while AMS are 26.60 18.60 m2/g, respectively. maximum AO conditions were at pH 7, optimum contact time 5 minutes, concentration 40 mg/L ratio 1:1. kinetics isotherm more closely followed pseudo second-order Langmuir 5.24 mg/g.

Adsorption characteristics of cellulolytic enzymes from the anaerobic fungus Piromyces sp. strain E2 on microcrystalline cellulose.

Characteristics of the cellulolytic system of the anaerobic fungus Piromyces sp. strain E2 with respect to adsorption onto microcrystalline cellulose were examined. Cellulolytic enzymes were separated by gel filtration chromatography into a high-molecular-mass complex with an apparent mass of approximately 1,200 to 1,400 kDa and proteins of lower molecular weights. Adsorption of cellulolytic en...

Acetylation and silylation of piperidine solubilized sporopollenin from pollen of Typha angustifolia L.

Silyl and acetyl derivatives of sporopollenin from the pollen of Typha angustifolia L. were prepared. The derivatized products were readily soluble in piperidine-d11 and could be investigated employing one- and two-dimensional proton and carbon NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) spectroscopy (1H,1H-COSY and 13C,1H-HETCOR techniques). For the first time, a two dimensional 13C,1H-HETCOR NMR spectru...

The nature of oxygen in sporopollenin from the pollen of Typha angustifolia L.

Native and peracetylated sporopollenin from the pollen of Typha angustifolia L. was investigated using several spectroscopic methods, inducing Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), solid-state 13C-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (13C-NMR) and X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS). Interpretation of the experimental data shows that the greater part of oxygen found in sporopoll...

Thermal analysis of microcrystalline cellulose prepared from esparto grass

Alfa fibres are extracted from the plant Stippa tenacissima, or esparto grass (alfa is the Arab name for esparto), and grows in the dry regions of North Africa. It belongs to the graminacies family and grows to a height of about 1 m. These fibres are mostly used in the production of paper. Recently, they have been used as reinforcement in the production of biodegradable composites. The aim of t...
